OCTOBER 17th UPDATE
Is This What We Want?
This week's track is a more mellow one (I love Fabio's production!) with a serious topic: the collapsing of so many of us into the lies and distractions around us, and asking the question: do we really want the effects of what that collapse into the lesser things may mean?
The full album release of SONGS FOR THE APOCALYPSE will proceed on November 1st, and I'm hopeful this album will start getting in front of a lot more people in the coming weeks and months. Thank you for being a part of this initial part of the adventure!

OCTOBER 10th UPDATE
Carry On
This week's release is a track called "Carry On," which was originally an acoustic track I released just on YouTube a few years back. It's a bit of an ironic song about how we are all bursting with energy to change the current status quo but also mired in our comforts while the world is burning.
But it's also triumphant: about conquering challenges together and about persevering even as things are hard and may get harder.

OCTOBER 3rd UPDATE
Dance
This week's release is a track called "Dance," about choosing courage in the face of life's struggles, with the main line being a happy-warrior victory cry to "laugh at the dark and dance."
There will be a really fun video coming out as well to accompany the song on Monday featuring a friend of mine doing FIRE DANCING (!), with a lyric video going live tomorrow.
I've also updated the Spotify link to go to a full Pax Paloma playlist which should work better for those of you who don't have premium.

SEPTEMBER 26TH UPDATE
Go Get Gone Now
This is the favorite track of my main producer, Fabio! He wasn't sure about it at first because of my insistence on tempo changes to reflect the sense of urgency I wanted to convey in the track, but ended up loving the end result.

I wrote it many years ago in undergrad. It was so exciting to finally dress it up in the studio and turn it into what it is now.

La Vita è Bella
This song released late August in the midst of some all-consuming personal things. Although I'm sad to get this one to you after its release, I'm happy to let you know we had a successful initial release with Robbie Rivera co-releasing it with me, and it getting added to some great playlists, including by radio personality Austin Kramer! It's already sitting at almost 7,000 streams, which for a brand new project is incredible.

When We Were Kids
This song was actually written by my brother, about the nostalgia of childhood and wanting to go back to that simplicity we all ache for. It's also a electropop bop!
It released last Friday, again smothered by some unavoidable personal things, including the passing away of a family member. So I appreciate your patience with me while I catch up. I'm so excited to be sharing all of these with you!

This is a song exploring my love of Los Angeles, but always with an ache in my heart for the mess she also is. I do believe she could have a very bright destiny if she returned to her roots. Really enjoyed the unique production direction Fabio took this in.

As I hinted at earlier, because of your support, it became possible for me to proceed with this album.

There are some final touches I was eager to do from a sound engineering perspective, and I really wanted to be able to fund some more complete visual accompaniment to the album. That won't be happening at this time.
Although there has been serious investment interest and I believe I will be able to pursue those things in the future, my ultimate decision this summer was to not let the perfect be the enemy of the good. These songs are ripe to get out to the world.
So: you are first to know and see the proposed digital cover for the album we are working on, to the right here, releasing late October/early November (you'll hear the exact date first!). I'll be sharing more about the aesthetic changes as well soon.
